Lan started her career in consulting and corporate strategy spending years working with internal and external corporate clients only to realize it was not as fulfilling as she had hoped.  At a crossroads, Lan decided to pivot her career to pursue one of her passions, which is guiding individuals in their pursuit of a meaningful and rewarding career.  This led her on a journey to become a Career Coach and to launch Happyness Hunt helping clients not just find a job but a satisfying career that ultimately brings them happiness. 

As a Career Coach, Lan facilitates workshops and provides customized one-on-one career coaching to hundreds of individuals ranging from students (undergraduate and graduate) to those currently in the workforce or seeking a career change.  She works with individuals at all stages of their careers from Discovery (e.g., career exploration) to Development & Preparation (e.g., resume writing, interview prep) to Maintain & Grow (e.g., career advancement). Through individualized coaching sessions, Lan assists clients by designing strategic action plans tailored to their specific needs.   Clients are armed with the tools, techniques, and support to be successful in achieving their aspirations. 

Given Lan's extensive experience in Consulting, she is also uniquely positioned to help clients pursue careers in this highly competitive industry.  She specializes in case interview prep and has helped individuals find fulfilling careers at consulting firms such as McKinsey, Boston Consulting Group, Bain, Deloitte Consulting, and Accenture.

Lan has partnered with and provided her coaching services to the University of Minnesota, Carleton College, and Macalester College.   She has assisted students start their career journey at companies such as Target, Best Buy, Amazon, Medtronic, Optum, and 3M.
